  2. Hi, I was wondering what the consistency is of this dish. You mention inserting a knife and having it come out clean- does that mean it’s more like a bar type consistency rather than a bowl of oatmeal?

    • Hi Olivia, Yes, you can omit the walnuts. The choice is up to you. It would be like eating an oatmeal cookie without walnuts. If you like that then you will for sure like this Berry Baked Oatmeal without the walnuts. Me personally love the crunch and taste of the walnuts.

  3. I’ve just put my second batch of this in 2 days into the oven! Hubby has early work mornings so it’s been great for him to grab some of this on his way out.
    It’s so versatile too, both times I’ve just used whatever I’ve had on hand. I love a great base recipe that I can play around with.
    Anyway just wanted to drop by to say thanks! 🙂
