DIY Halloween Felt Witch Hat | A small 2-inch wide felt hat just the right size to decorate the top of a spoon. I used these hats as toppers for my BEWITCHING PUMPKIN MOUSSE PARFAITS.
Witch Hat Supplies
cardboard (mine was from a used note pad but you could also use a cereal box)
The cardboard cut outs will serve as a guide to cut around.
Cut a piece of cardboard in a half moon shape. The size depends on how big you want your hat. Mine was 3-1/2-inches wide. TIP: I used a cheap piece of paper to play around with the size first before cutting the felt.
Cut a piece of cardboard in a circle. Again the size depends on how big you want your hat. Mine was 2-inches wide.
Heat up your hot glue gun. Take the half moon shape bring one side to the center.
Then bring the other side and wrap around to make a cone shape. Glue the edge of the cone to keep the shape.
Take the circle shape fold in half and then in half again and cut a small portion of the tip. This will allow the top of the spoon to slip through.
Place a small dot of glue slightly on the side of where the cone will be placed on the circle, then drag the cone through it a little and stick in place. This is a LBC original!
