Cake Donut Truffles

Cake Donut Truffles - Lady Behind The Curtain

Cake Donut Truffles…..Hmmmm since these truffles have actual donuts in them does that mean I get to have them for breakfast?  These Cake Donut Truffles are exactly that.  Sinfully made with creamy melted white chocolate, cream cheese and pieces of cake donut holes.  DELICIOUS! It’s all about the chocolate.  I used my favorite white chocolate form Chocoley.  It melts super easy is creamy and delicious!  Now onto the donut holes.  I used Entenmann’s pop’ems glazed cake donut holes.  I cut the donut holes into quarters and gently folded them into the truffle mixture. Cheesy Peasy Deviled Eggs

Cheesy Peasy Deviled Eggs - Lady Behind The Curtain

I love Layered Pea Salad and that is exactly what these Cheesy Peasy Deviled Eggs remind me of.  I just love the versatility of the deviled egg.  Make them as an appetizer for a dinner party or take them on a picnic.  Plus, you can add anything to them.    Like these Cheesy Peasy Deviled Eggs.  You still get the tangy flavor you love but with little bits of cheese and petite peas.  My Easter table is not complete without deviled eggs.  This year I think I’ll serve these instead of the traditional ones. For the cheese I made it … Continue reading

Light Maple Cinnamon Dip

Light Maple Cinnamon Dip - Lady Behind The Curtain

Light Maple Cinnamon Dip is an addictive dip that goes perfectly with apple slices.  Make this dip on the weekend and take it to work for a mid morning snack all week! I made this recipe light by using reduced fat cream cheese and Splenda.  You can reduce the calories even more by using maple flavoring instead of the maple syrup.  If you choose to use the maple flavoring only use 1 teaspoon at a time.  The flavoring is tons more potent than the syrup.
