Port Wine Fig Cheese Ball



  • 1 (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried figs, chopped
  • 1/4 cup port wine fig spread
  • 1/2 cups walnuts, finely chopped


Combine the cream cheese and chopped dried figs.  TIP:  I found that using my hands was the BEST tool for this job.  Flatten out the cream cheese mixture, add the fig spread and gently combine with the cream cheese, being careful NOT to completely combine the two.  You want there to be some marbling.  Form into a ball and roll in chopped nuts, place on a platter , cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.  Serve with an assortment of crackers.
