6 DIY Cupcake Stands — 16 Comments

  1. That is such a great theme! I love the cupcakes, they look so delicious. I did a dessert table for my neice’s sweet 16 and I had suuuch a hard time finding a cake stand that would house at least 50 cupcakes! I ended up having one made locally, but this stand is such a great and easy to assemble idea. I will keep this in my mind of my next table!!

  2. Everything looks so delicious and would be so fun for any party or shower! Thanks for linking up to Strut Your Stuff Saturday. We hope you come back and share more of your ideas. -The Sisters

  3. Cheryl, you are right, they are expensive. Just left Homegoods and they were charging like $50 for some chandelier-looking stand. Thanks for posting this!

    • Hi Gina,
The bottom board was 4 feet long and 6 inches wide. For the other levels I went in 5 to 6 inches on each side every time I added a tier and kept the width the same. You can use the same size mason jars. I liked the smaller ones for the smaller boards. 🙂

      • Thank you, this is a huge help. How about the sturdiness of it? If it is on a table that is not backed against a wall, do you think it will hold up?
