Toddler DIY Sensory Board | When playing with everyday toys is a challenge for some children it’s a great idea to mount customized things to a board. Some kids have a hard time staying focused and quickly grow tired of the toy they are playing with. So, it gets thrown down and forgotten. To avoid a dinged floor or a dinged little boy I mounted this activity board to the wall. I plan on making a texture board to swap out with the sensory board.
This board was something I put together for my grandson. Filled with his favorite things. Like lights, a mirror, a couple of his favorite toys and things that make noise like door stops. Since everything is screwed to the board I can easily swap out some of the items as he grows to challenge him even more.
Make sure to measure the height of your child including how high he/she can reach. Secure everything with screws.
