I wanted to have a Holiday party. I just didn’t know how I was going to have the time to get it all together. Then I remembered I had a family size Stouffer’s Lasagna and a family size Macaroni and Cheese in the freezer. I had just been to the store and had picked up some ice cream and DiGiorno pizza. I put my thinking cap on and came up with some fun ways to dress up the lasagna, macaroni and cheese, pizza and ice cream. I decided I would serve the lasagna in a garlic toast bread bowl, dress up the macaroni and cheese by serving it in a mason jar and adding a few other ingredients, slice the pizza into dippers and created a fun and easy ice cream bar. So, I raided my pantry, and this is the party I created for last minute entertaining.

VINAIGRETTE SALAD: Instead of serving your salad in a boring large bowl serve it in a large jar.
PIZZA DIPPERS: Serve slices of DiGiorno pizza in small jars or cups with Ranch Dressing or marinara sauce.
GARLIC BREAD LASAGNA: Hallow out dinner rolls, add garlic spread to the bottom, stick the hallowed bread bowls under the broiler, toast and fill with hot lasagna. Pick up and eat it without a fork!
MEXICAN MAC & CHEESE: Cook as directed, add (2)11-ounce cans of sweet corn with red and green peppers. In a separate bowl mix together 1 cup bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano and 1/4 cup melted butter. Sprinkle on top of cooked mac & cheese or scoop mac & cheese into jars, sprinkle with bread crumb mixture. Set under the broiler and broil until golden brown.
ICE CREAM SUNDAE BAR– You can never go wrong with Dreyers Slow Churned Ice Cream. Make sure to add the NEW holiday flavors of PEPPERMINT WONDERLAND AND A VERY MERRY EGGNOG.
Everyone loved making their own ice cream sundae and I loved how easy it was to put together!
SIDE NOTE: Don’t want to spend a lot of money of serving trays? Use place mats! They give the illusion of trays.
