Old Tart Tin Ornaments
Old Tart Tin Ornaments | Add a touch of that cozy Country Christmas feel and make ornaments out of old tart tins.
I have had these tarts for over 20 years. And they served me well but it was time to retire them. I love the look of them so I decided to make some of them into ornaments. I love re purposing old items. It makes for a more homey look and feel. Make these cute ornaments and give them as party favors, a hostess gift or a teachers gift!
Old Tart Tin Ornament Supplies
tart tins
wire
drill
fake snow
iridescent glitter (sprinkled on the wet fake snow)
super glue ( for the trees)
assorted decorations ( fabric, wooden signs, wooden letters, small trees)
Directions
These are so easy! It’s all about you and what you like! Start by drilling your holes.
Thread throw the wire and using pliers twist the wire on the back side into curls so that the wire will stay.
Then get busy creating! NOTE: I found the mini trees and fake snow at Michael’s. For the snow speckled look; put some white paint on a tooth brush and flick the paint on.
Such a clever idea! They turned out so cute!
I love these they are so adorable. I bet when the lights shine on them they looks fantastic.
