  1. I was afraid this would be bland with water but did not want to add extra calories by adding almond milk, so I went ahead and tried it. It was not at all bland; in fact, it was very tasty. I cut the recipe in half because my protein powder has 120 calories per scoop. Even half of it was more than enough (2 tall smoothies). Thanks so much for the recipe!
