Bag of Bones Halloween Party Favor
Your Halloween party needs a Bag of Bones Halloween Party Favor! We just dug up some bones from an old graveyard and decided to share them with you.
This dirty, creepy Bag of Bones Halloween Party Favor is really melted white candy melts, brushed with cocoa powder. Perfect for a Halloween party AND a Pirate party!

Bag of Bones Halloween Party Favor
Supplies (bag topper)
cellophane party favor bags
scrapbook paper
scrapbook skeleton embellishments
Bag of Bones label
double stick tape
Supplies (bones)
1 (12 ounce) bag white candy melts
cocoa powder
small clean paint brush
squeeze bottle or zip top bag
optional: shortening
Directions (bag topper)
Cut pieces of scrapbook paper 4 1/2-inches by 5 3/4 -inches. Print and cut out the Bag of Bones label. Use double stick tape to attach it to the scrapbook paper. Add skeleton embellishments. After bag is filled staple the bottom of the card to the top of the bag.

Pour candy melts into a medium microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring between each until candy is melted and creamy. NOTE: If the candy is too thick add some shortening 1 tablespoon at a time until the candy reaches pouring consistency. Pour candy into a squeeze bottle or a zip top bag. Cut the end off one corner of the bag. Fill candy mold with melted candy. Tap on the counter to release any bubbles. Place in the refrigerator to harden (about 20 minutes). Once the candy is hard, turn the mold upside down on the counter to release the candy. Pour some cocoa on a piece of wax paper, using a paint brush, brush on some cocoa.
