When you’re a tiny garden fairy it stands to reason that the flowers should be giant, and these homemade tissue flowers are just that. Perfectly adding pops of color and height to the party table. These easy to make Giant Tissue Paper Flowers are just what your party table needs. Great for a Fiesta Party Table too!
How to Make Giant Tissue Paper Flowers
tissue paper (6 per flower)
wire, twist tie or pipe cleaner
1-36 inch Dowel (per flower)
optional floral tape
DIRECTIONS (printable directions below)
Lay tissue paper out on top of each other. Starting at the shortest end, fold in a fan motion (back and forth).Find the center of the fan, thread the wire, twist tie, or pipe cleaner through the folded loop and tie (DO NOT TRIM).Cut one end into a curved corner; fold over to use as a guide to cut the other side. Starting with the center piece of tissue paper, gently pull to the center, follow with remaining pieces making sure to pull as close to the center as possible. Twist the remaining wire, twist tie or pipe cleaner around and down the dowel. Wrap dowel with floral tape.
