These colorful Giant Tissue Flowers are a cheap and an easy way to add color and interest to any party table. Plus, they fit in perfectly with my Tinker Bell Woodland Party. Perfect for a Fiesta too!
I use one 6 sheet package of tissue paper for each flower.
Giant Tissue Flowers Supplies
tissue paper (6 per flower)
wire, twist tie or pipe cleaner
Dowel (per flower)
optional floral tape
Directions
Lay tissue paper out on top of each other. Starting at the shortest end fold in a fan motion (back and forth).
Find the center of the fan and tie with whatever you chose ( I used wire).
Cut one end into a curved corner; fold over to use as a guide to cut the other side.
Starting with the center piece of tissue pull to the center and follow with the remaining pieces making sure to pull as close to the center as possible.
Twist the wire around the dowel to secure; wind the remaining wire down the dowel.
Wrap the dowel with floral tape.
