Citrus Votive Directions
Slice off the top (navel end) of the orange.
Use a sharp kitchen knife to cut around the inside perimeter of the orange.
Using a spoon, gently scoop out the pulp.
Remove all the citrus flesh, with only the white pith remaining inside the orange shell. Rinse out oranges and dry the outside with a paper towel.
With a ballpoint pen, trace or draw a small star on the orange skin.
Use a sharp knife to carefully cut out the pattern. Wipe off any pen marks left with a damp paper towel. I dipped a Q-tip in nail polish remover…it took the ink right off!
