Halloween Spider Slime Party Favor | Homemade slime is all the rage.  It’s super easy to make and you can customize it to fit any occasion.  Like this Halloween Spider Slime.  It’s made with purple and green glitter glue to match my color scheme for my Halloween Spider Party.  Along with creepy rubber spiders and googly eyes.  I love sending the kids home with a little “Thank You” gift and this is the perfect creepy gift!  Lady Behind The Curtain received product from Oriental Trading for this post all opinions are 100% mine.

The recipe I followed uses something different then my usual recipe…. and that eye contact solution.  I usually use liquid starch but I really liked the way the slime turned out.  Slimy but not sticky.  I found the recipe on the Elmer’s glue site.  I figure if anyone knew something about using glue in a recipe it would be Elmer’s, and I was right!  They have an assortment of ways to “dress” up the glue.  Click here for the recipe I used—->>>>SLIME (I used the first one using glitter glue instead of white glue.

In order to get the slime party favor ready, I purchased slime jars from Michaels.  I like the jars becasue they have a nice wide mouth to allow fingers to reach in and get the slime.  I will say they are big in size.  I was only able to get two party favors per bottle of glue and they weren’t even full.  So if you come across smaller containers with a wide mouth you might want to consider purchasing those.

Like I said above I used the googly eyes from Oriental Trading and slime containers from Michaels.  The glue can be found at any retail store that carries Elmer’s Glue.  The rubber spiders were from Dollar Tree.
