I think whomever first made a cheese ball must of been a hostess. They only need a few ingredients are super tasty and can be made a day in advance. What more could a hostess want?
I have been making this Easy Savory Holiday Cheese Ball for a very long time….probably most of my married life (37 years)! It’s always been a family favorite. Because it leans toward the savory side, crackers or pretzels pair perfectly with it. Another one of my families favorites only has THREE ingredients and that’s counting the nuts! Easy Savory Holiday Cheese Ball
Ingredients
- 2 ( 8 ounce) cream cheese blocks, softened
- 2 (5 ounce) jars Kraft processed cheese
- 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 to 2 cups waltnuts, chopped
Instructions
In a medium bowl mix together the cream cheese, processed cheese, green onion and Worcestershire sauce until combined. Form into a ball and roll in chopped nuts. Place on the platter, serve immediately OR cover and refrigerate for later. Serve with crackers or pretzels.
