Strawberries and Cream Flatbread | An easy dessert with piles of fresh sweetened strawberries and whipped cream all on top of a delicious crispy fried flatbread. My Semi Homemade version of strawberry funnel cake. Close your eyes and imagine the boardwalk, the carousal music playing and the smells of the boardwalk! That’s what this Strawberries and Cream Flatbread will do!

Create a build your fried flatbread bar! With bowls of not just strawberries but blueberries, bananas, chocolate and peaches! The list could go on and on. Creating a dessert bar is the easiest way of setting up a dessert table and can be put together a day in advance. I would hold off frying the flatbread until the morning of the party. Cinnamon Ice Cream would be amazing with the peaches!
- fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- granulated sugar (about 2 tablespoons per 1 pound of strawberries)
- whipped cream topping
- deep fried flatbread (link below)
Sprinkle sugar on top of prepared strawberries. Stir to coat and let the strawberries form a juice.
Spoon prepared strawberries on top of fried flatbread and top with whipped cream
