That’s right it’s sugar free and sweet! Transform your beloved Peach Sweet Tea into a delicious ZERO calorie refreshing drink! Whether you’re watching your weight or sugar intake you no longer have to be deprived of a great tasting tea. This Sugar Free Peach Sweet Tea is just like the one served in your favorite restaurant but with NO SUGAR!

I love flavored teas, but the idea of drinking my calories is something I don’t do. If I’m going to have 200 empty calories it’s going to be on dessert! Hahaha…… Now, I can have my flavored tea without any worries.
I have several people in my life with diabetes and drinking something filled with sugar is a huge no no. Scroll down to see how you can make your own sugar free simple syrup. In case you don’t know…simple syrup is a syrup made from dissolved granulated sugar and used to sweeten most drinks. Why do you think the Sweet Tea at McDonald’s is so good? You guessed it! SIMPLE SYRUP! 😀

MAKE A BAR OF FLAVORED TEAS!

I love food and dessert bars but how about a beverage bar? I purchased my sugar free syrup from Cost Plus International Market. They have a great selection of sugar free and regular syrups. Great ones for a coffee bar too!

*SIMPLE SYRUP VS SUGAR FREE SIMPLE SYRUP * ZERO CALORIES TO 400 CALORIES (per½cup) ENOUGH SAID.♥

HOW TO MAKE SUGAR FREE SIMPLE SYRUP

  • 3½ tablespoons Truvia Natural Sweetener (or 12 packets)
  • ½ cup hot water

Pour hot water over Truvia, stir until dissolved.

Never feel deprived! For great tasting drinks, add this simple syrup to homemade lemonade, iced tea and iced coffee. For this Sugar Free Peach Tea I used a store bought sugar free syrup. Now that you know how to make a sugar free simple syrup the options are wide open!

Sugar Free Peach Sweet Tea

Yield: 2 Quarts

Ingredients

  • 1 Tazo black tea bag
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1 cup Torani Sugar Free Peach Syrup
  • 4 cups filtered cold water

Instructions

Place tea bag in a 2 quart glass pitcher. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, pour over tea bag, cover and let steep for 30 minutes. Remove tea bag, add flavored syrup and cold water, stir. Cover and refrigerate to get cold.

  2. Can you use any kind of black tea bags? I use 1 gallon tea bags or peach tea by Crystal light. I would love to try and make sugar free peach ice tea myself. Please comment on my question as soon as you can please and thank you.
