I love how this Simple Macaroni Salad Recipe compliments any grilled or smoked main dish. The flavors are simple, not too strong but add just the right amount of flavor.

As I said before the great thing about this salad is its versatility. This is my husbands favorite salad so I customize it to what he likes. The same can be done for your family. Some addition ideas are red or green bell peppers, onion, relish, peas or chunks of cheddar cheese.
Add the dressing while the pasta is still hot. The pasta will absorb the most flavor while it’s hot.

Simple Macaroni Salad Recipe
This summertime favorite salad is made with simple ingredients and dressed with a light creamy mayonnaise dressing.
Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) box salad macaroni, cooked according to package directions
- 1 (3.8 ounce) can sliced black olives
- 5 large eggs, boiled, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Drain macaroni, add to a large bowl. While the macaroni is hot add the olives, eggs, celery, mayonnaise, milk, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Cover and store in the refrigerator.
